All proposed websites require some pre-planning to a greater or lesser degree depending on the size and scale of the project. Once the pre-planning is complete we begin the process of designing the website in Photoshop (a graphics program), research photos and progress the design with the client until they are happy - once signed-off only then would we proceed to coding the design.

We thought it would be helpful to potential clients to view an example of the stages involved in designing a website from the initial graphic process through to coding, final implementation and subsequent SEO efforts. Cribonline.co.uk, one of our clients, has kindly given permission to feature their site here as a case study. The website is an ecommerce site selling designer baby clothes and related products and uses a shopping cart system.
Launched in January 2007, the site achieved excellent results in the search engines within 3 months for its key search phrases, most of which are very competitive.
